It’s just a piece of pop culture trivia, that a poster for the American movie, ‘Couple’s Retreat’ had a British version, with the black couple removed.

Actually, the movie looked like a woofer to me, so I wasn’t going to see it anyway. But it suggests an intellectual exercise. Look at the world as seen on the screen, and ask what’s missing. What kinds of things dare we not show? The boredom of the daily grind? Apocalyptic fantasies are crowd pleasers. At least you don’t have to go to work on 12/22/2012.
