Business Week has come out and said it: opportunities for some job are better in India, especially if you’re European.

This article profiles young professionals who have chosen to move to India and live on an Indian salary of as low as $350 a month (although you can live on that in India) while working in call centers, or while getting experience and moving up the ladder in mostly Information Technology jobs.

A commenter on Business Week had a most insightful comment: that 20 years ago parents used to admonish their children, “Finish your dinner. There are children starving in India who would gladly have your food.” Now parents should tell their children, “Finish your homework. There are children in India who would gladly have your job.” And they likely will.
