Carl, I don’t know what to tell you. In theory, impeachment is the answer. In reality, impeachment is not politically viable and you know all the other bla bla bla arguments from RIfuture. So anyway, Monday….I assume you are referring to the RI Dem convention. I wasn’t seriously considering going — don’t know what I’d wear, other than a 7-month old and a diaper bag. Good luck with your speech. Thank you for your leadership. I hope your career will continue in public service.

Bring the 7 month old. I have five kids 9 – 19 and my wife(s) and I (different marriages) were going out to dinner and movies after about three months to keep some normalcy. I will be speaking at about 6:30.
Impeachment is doing the right thing and expecting that the leadership will be contagious. Doing the polling thing has given us the quasi representation with nominal change for the good and certainly much for the bad.
Using the logic of certainty, we would not have women’s and civil rights – because at the time they were pursued it was likely perceived not popularly supported. When would be the right thing when control of the Congress is not assured. You beat my child, but I’m going to wait 3 years until I feel fairly certain I can get a conviction.
Opposition, vigorus opposition, is patriotic and this applies just as well on either side of the aisle when your and my problems are not being genuinely brought to the forefront.
