Just a quick observation – did any one notice that the President’s seal is backwards? That’s symbolic of the direction taken by this administration over the last five plus years.
You are very observant, Geoff. In adding the dialogue balloons to the photograph, which I copied from the White House website, I reversed the photo so that it would be clear that Bush’s comment preceded Cheney’s thought. I probably would not have made this editorial decision if I had been as observant as you, even with the apt symbolism. Nonetheless, perhaps this qualifies me for a job with Reuters. 😉
