This is quite a welcome message — a thank-you email from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee sent to Kmareka (and lots of other blogs), acknowledging the blogs for helping to change the direction of the country:

We wanted to take a moment and thank political blog writers for all that you have done to change the direction of the country. Because of your efforts, and the efforts of many of your readers, our party has been reinvigorated with an enormous amount of energy and activism.

Americans sent a clear message that we need to change the course – both in Iraq and at home. Strong Democrats like Sheldon Whitehouse will hold President Bush accountable for his failed strategy and propose a new direction for America.
