For the last several days, I have been enjoying the newest album by Patty Griffin, a folk singer who has managed to stir my heart with the beauty and authenticity of her voice. Her new CD is entitled Children Running Through, and it does not disappoint. One of my favorite songs—so far—is “Heavenly Day.” I have taken the liberty of pairing the song with various images of the natural world (culled primarily from Wikimedia Commons) and creating a music video, of sorts.
