For anyone concerned about the health of this country and its leader, today’s Washington Post featured a rather disturbing headline: “President Has 2 Moles Removed From His Face.” Here is an exclusive photo of the larger of the two moles. Doctors remain puzzled how the moles managed to breach the tight security that surrounds Mr. Bush or why no one noticed them until recently. After their removal, the White House moved quickly to quell public alarm by issuing a statement that the President was fine and that at no time was there a danger of Vice President Cheney [legally] assuming command of the country. A spokesperson added that, despite their malignant appearance, “the doctors expect that both moles are benign.” The White House denied reports that doctors were rebuffed when they sought to remove Joe Lieberman’s mouth from the President’s buttocks.
