Given all the discussions going on in the blogs about education, such as here and here, it’s seems a good time to introduce some great resources on education which I learned about from Edutopia’s Reader Survey. The list of surveyed topics includes Best Sources of Classroom Freebies as well as Best Site to Download Free Lessons, and, something we may come to rely on here in Cranston given our lack of funding: Best Virtual Fieldtrip, an honor which goes to Colonial Williamsburg, proud owners of the domain name history.org. They also have a category for Best Blog for Educators.

I could go on, but it’s school vacation week and the young’uns are restless, so it’s time to do the Mommy thing. The best thing to do is go to Edutopia.org and check out the survey yourself.
