Family troubles made worse by a deadly weapon…

Police records show 84-year-old Edward Portner was arrested Tuesday night after showing up at [his daughter] Broward County Mayor Stacy Ritter’s house with a gun and struggling with her briefly. Ritter ran to a neighbor’s house and later told officers she feared for her life.

He was angry because she wouldn’t endorse him for mayor, and now he’s in jail. If they let him out I hope they take away his guns.
