  1. Pilgrim High is my alma mater. I had my first nervous breakdown there. But I might brave it for the free spaghetti.
I was very impressed with Sen.Whitehouse when he came to the Butcher Block deli for an informal question and answer.

    1. You’d have been less impressed with Sheldon if you had to deal on a regular basis with the US Attorneys’ Office under his stewardship.
he managed to pigeonhole effectie prosecutors while moving up the incompetent and obtuse.
He is an arrogant to the manor born, silver spoon fop.
He reeks of “noblesse oblige”serving his lessers because they are so benighted.
He did a great job as AG,getting a 15 year old witness killed on her front steps because he was too ignorant of what was going on to take effective measures-if he actually realized how dangerous the defendants in the case were.It was his job to know those things.the buck stopped with him and now we have this stinker as a Senator.
Well, you may as well enjoy the spaghetti because you’ve drunk the guy’s Kool-Aid.

    2. It’s at the senior center, not the high school, so you should be able to avoid high school flashback trauma.

  2. I don’t know the details of the failure to protect Jennifer Rivera, or who, besides the murderer, is most accountable. I suspect that there is plenty of blame to go around.
It would be worthwhile to examine that, to see what went wrong, and to see what could be done today to protect witnesses.
    We should not forget her.

    1. Here’s the deal-Sheldon had the responsibility to see she was protected.Apparently she and her mother didn’t realize who they were up against. That’s understandable, and this, let us remember, was a brave young girl.
The defendant and his family were notorious as a mindlessly violent and dangerous group of people going back generations.
Sheldon didn’t seem to know this, and that is inexcusable. You find it very convenient to try spreading blame around when one of your anointed liberal icons comes under fire.
You and “klaus”were real free in suggesting blame on third parties after the Tiller murder and the Tucson
      massacre.
I notice you didn’t dispute my assertions about Sheldon’s miserable tenure as US Attorney.Nothing like first hand knowledge Nancy unless you think I’m a liar.
Actually,I have no reason to lie here, because no one here has any personal importance in my life and if they did, lying would screw things up,so why lie at all?

  3. BTW I have had to protect witnesses under threat and in one case participated in the rescue of a 16 years old witness in a smuggling case kidnapped off the street in Chicago at gunpoint.
We didn’t bother with a search warrant on that one,I can assure you-we used a “Florsheim”warrant.

  4. “MACARONI AND MEATBALL”

He should tap into Patrick Lynch’s account. He’ll pack the house with a shrimp spread, passed hors d’oeuvres, and lots and lots of booze.

    1. Sheldon is “above” such crass behavior-he’s more into dry wine and cheese that smells like a rotted corpse.
I do,however respect Andrew Zimmern on Channel 33-that guy has some balls!!

  5. just a heads up. Kmareka’s board of directors is having its annual meeting and awards banquet in Provo, Utah this month. We will be creating a comments policy. The policy will be posted. Until then, a good standard is not to write anything that would make your mother give you a look.

    1. What have you been smoking?Provo,Utah?
Right, and I’m commanding the next space shuttle.
I imagine the comments policy will be tailored to prevent people like myself drom criticizing liberal icons.
