Pop, by Daniel Gross, argues that bubbles are good for the economy. Gross emphasizes the creative reuse and expansion of new technology that accompanied the high-tech bubble as evidence that bubbles can be good for the economy.
But who gets popped? Now that is gross….
Call me a pesimist if you like, but I just have a hunch that people of the calibre of Hillary Clinton are not going to make the highest office just yet. The international public have shown that they are not ready for a person who believes in natural and social justice…otherwise Bush/Chaney, and in our neck of the woods (Australia) Prime minister Howard and his govt wouldn’t be supported so readily.
