I just heard from my sister in law who was self employed and still too young for Medicare that she has to drop hear health coverage and pay a fine because they doubled her premium-she has no health problems,non smoker,etc and has a very modest income-she had a self only plan because her husband is on Medicare-$300/mo to $600/mo.-that’s affordable?She lives in Florida.
