I want desperately for Barbara Boxer to win the race for the Senate, and I want Carly Fiorina to win her battle against cancer and its complications. She is in the hospital being treated for an infection related to surgery.
We’re all in the human race, and women, especially, understand.
“We wish Carly Fiorina a speedy recovery and hope she is able to return to her normal schedule soon,” Boxer campaign manager Rose Kapolczynski said.
First lady Michelle Obama, Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, and Boxer all used speeches at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Los Angeles Tuesday to wish Fiorina a speedy recovery.
UPDATE: Carly Fiorina should be back on the campaign trail as this goes to press. When it’s pathogens vs humans, I’ll vote for the humans every time. Congratulations, Carly. Now I hope Barbara Boxer wins the Senate race, because she is the better candidate.

Barbara Boxer graduated from my high school .She was ahead of me so I didn’t know her(thank God)but I did know her sister-in-law.Since she isn’t a public figure I’ll just leave it be.
Barbara Boxer is an obnoxious little screech owl filled with venom towards our military,the unborn,and generally anything honorable or decent.
She is widely regarded as a phony ,greedy, ambitious creature among the alumni of the school.
She made her wealth as a stockbroker,not as Mother Teresa.One of those capitalists you and “klaus”hate so much(even though they pay his way).
If Barbara Boxer were in the hospital,I sure wouldn’t wish her well -I would say-let the chips fall where they may.
I’d not want a molecule of sympathy from someone like her.
Or anyone other than my immediate family-I’ve been circling the bowl more than a few times and how long does anyone really need to live?
I hope you realize that I believe YOU actually want Ms.Fiorina to recover.

Senator Boxer held a low-cost event in my town that anyone could attend. It’s rare for a political figure at that level to do something like that.
She stuck by us through the darkest days of the Bush administration. I hope she wins.
I was struck by her horrible screaming,fist pounding defense of the barbaric practice of partial birth abortion.
Her childish tantrum with a general who was testifying was also a nice window into her persona.
Back at my high school,I understand she was not well respected for either personality or intelligence.
I grew up with people like her and it’s a shame they’re in government.

Ms Boxer is in the vegatable league as regards intelligence, ability and performance. There may well be green peppers or carrots that are more informed.
